What Makes The Nintendo 64 The Best Console Ever?

In my own personal opinion I have to say that the N64 is the best console ever to be made. There are so many reasons that this is backed up and they are simply because of the great games, the nostalgic reasons and because it is always gone back too.

Great Games

Although still sticking to the cartridge based game I have to say I have far more decent memories of playing on my N64 than my PS1 and this is simply because almost every game to be released onto the console was amazing.

Banjo Kazooie

This game by Rare is up there among my favourite games of all time, I will always go back and play this one. I have to say the thing that did it for me was the amazing graphics for its time, on top of this the wide range of levels were amazing too. two other main games have been made with the last one being an exclusive to the 360. The third wasnt that great if I am honest, they should have kept to the original game mechanics.

Mario 64

Mario 64 was the biggest selling game on the N64 and is one of the most loved games of all time, it has sold over 11 million copies. Not only did it sell many games it also changed the way that people played their games, you have not experienced a game properly until you have played Mario 64.

There are so many other games out there on the N64 worth playing, anyone remember Ocarina Of Time and Goldeneye. The reason that this console is just so popular with me is simply because I grew up playing the thing and although the same can be said for the PS1 I just think that this has and will be Nintendo’s finest moment.

Before you buy your kids anything think about reading toys reviews and gadgets reviews.

So there it is really, simple, the best console to be made!
