There have been ever so many driving games that get released onto our consoles. Many have come and gone, but there have been a few that have stuck around to see it through. So lets take a appear at some of the driving games around and that have been around.

 

Mario Kart

Mario kart has actually been around from the years of the SNES console, the game has always stayed pretty similiar to its ways and there have been a few changes over the years. Things such as extra characters and a few extra weapons, but most importantly the graphics have improved. I believe Mario Kart is a game that people can sit down and play for hours upon hours, without getting fed up or world-weary.

 

Need for Speed

Need for speed is for the ultimate gamers, the races are high speed and non stop. Since the game first hit the market, we have just seen cars get better and better and almost come to life.

 

Gran Turismo

This game has literally been around since the very first PlayStation console was released, it is one of thos games where you can work on building up your career and money to buy better automobile, a must have for the fanatics.

 

Grand Theft Auto

Although it is strictly not just a driving game, GTA is probably one of the more entertaining games around, especially for the old generations. You can basically steal cars, smash them to pieces, make them explode and perform getaways. I think that even the first GTA that was released literally shook up the gaming world, with it Birdseye view game play.

 

There have been many more games throughout the years that have come and gone things such as road rage which used to be great titles.
